👋 Hey! I'm Ben, currently the Lead Software Engineer at FinQuery Software Management.

A Little Bit About Me

I have a Shiba Inu, Somi (instagram) , who I love very much, and spend most of my time outside of work reading, working out 💪, or taking care of her 🐕. I spend an absurd amount of money on Boba, and I cannot function without a Starbucks Americano or Cold Brew in the morning.

As an Engineer...

As far as who I am as an engineer, I'm an engineer with a passion for building scalable and maintainable software. I have experience in building web applications, APIs, and microservices using Ruby on Rails, Python, Node.js, and React. I'm also experienced in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure using AWS and Heroku!

In particular, my expertise is in working closely with product managers and owners and translating their requirements into technical solutions. I'm also experienced in leading a team of engineers and ensuring that the team is aligned with the company's goals.
